Kun-Wei Song is a first year medical student at Duke. She is from Cupertino, California and graduated with a BA in Neuroscience from Pomona College in 2012. Kun-Wei has studied abroad in the UK and Switzerland. She is interested in global health and is excited to be part of the healthcare team this year. Kun-Wei and Heather will be conducting a qualitative research project on the impact of trash on the local communities during the trip.
